Aussie Finance Tools is funded by advertising through Google AdSense. There are no sponsored posts, no paid placements, and no affiliate deals on this site. The calculators and guides are built from the official rules, not from what an advertiser might prefer you see, and nothing on the page is arranged to favour one outcome over another.
Where the figures come from
Every rate, threshold and bracket comes from official Australian Taxation Office (ATO) publications. Each tool and guide links the exact source page it relies on, so you can check a figure against the ATO directly rather than take our word for it.
How figures are verified and kept current
Each figure is checked against the primary ATO source, not copied from other blogs or aggregator sites. Every tool and guide shows a "last reviewed" date so you can see how fresh it is. When a figure for the current tax year has not yet been officially confirmed, we flag it with a visible caution and treat it as a draft until the ATO confirms it.
What this site is not
This site does not provide personal financial or tax advice. The calculators are general-purpose estimators built from published rates; they can't account for every personal circumstance. For decisions that affect your money, check the ATO directly or speak to a registered tax agent or licensed financial adviser.
Corrections
If a figure is wrong or out of date, we fix it and re-date the page. If you spot an error, please let us know; corrections are always welcome.
